T’ai Chi Chuan is an ancient Chinese exercise. It involves a series of slow relaxed movements for total self development. It is a system of spiritual meditation for the body. Participants will learn to increase physical energy, release tension and stress, improve health, practice self defense (self control and control over a given situation), and the ability to heal one’s self and others. This tape follows the 37 movements of Cheng Man Chings’ short form. It also includes some easy to learn Chi Kung relaxation exercises. It is taught by Jim Welsh.
